Irises are beautiful!

This is another GIMP painting; I'm starting to understand the software better... I used this picture as a reference for the eye.

Edit: I changed some parts of the picture, to take KaidokJ's critiques into account. I mainly re-painted the eyelashes, painted smoother skin textures, and changed a few other details. If anyone is interested, the first version of this painting is here
