Being a gorgon isn't always fun. For instance, hairdressing is hard, because the snakes don't appreciate being braided or straightened. Aaaand when you're finally done, you can't ask anyone how it looks, unless you want to redecorate your house with very lifelike statues... That must be the reason why Medusa always looks like she doesn't know how to use a hairbrush
